No, it does not. If you want to go for photography as a career, make sure you have a back up plan to catch you when you fall from photography.

Photography is an extremely competitive and overcrowded industry. You would have to be extremely skillful if you want to make a decent living out of it.

My mentor, who is a landscape photographer, literal starved because of the lack of jobs a few years a go. There were just too many wannabee photographers who knows nothing but advertises themselves cheap.

yeah, but just because we live in the future, doesn’t mean we can’t get into film photography either.

I plan on getting into the digital photography field, and I think it’s a great idea for you.
If you like taking pictures, you should try to get on your school’s yearbook staff to see if you like taking pictures and such.

By the way, you’re not too young to be thinking about careers. It’s best to know by highschool, so you can take the proper courses.

photographer as a profession is one of the most coolest and wanted professions, but after the digital camera era, its too common thing. Everyone can take photos, and no-one is willing to pay anyone for it anymore, like in the old days. Taking photos with nowdays digital technic and editing possibilities is fun, and fun is hardly ever paid thing in this world.

Wow i’d love to have a career in photography too.
i think if you keep at it and just be original and creative and snap away who knows what could happen,maybe for a magazine the paper or advertising but i hope you do well its your choice.
